Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk to blend:
1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon cloves
In large mixing bowl whisk together:
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix wet and dry ingredients together.
Stir in 1/2 cup craisins.
Then using floured hands shape into approximately 2-inch wide, 9-inch long, and 1-inch high loaf. Place on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake about 20-25 minutes.
Cool completely on sheet on wire rack.
When cool, transfer to cutting board.
Use a serrated knife and cut crosswise into 1-inch wide slices.
Arrange slices, cut side down on freshly lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10-15 minutes. Transfer to rack to cool.
