Holiday Road Trip
In the past Jack, Jackson and I would take GrandMary and GrandFloyd on a little Christmas trip.
This year it was just the three of us.
Highlights from our Central Florida trip:
The Morse Museum, located at the edge of the park on North Park Avenue, is home to the world’s most comprehensive collection of Louis Comfort Tiffany jewelry, pottery, paintings, art glass, leaded-glass lamps and windows. My favorite room, aside from the gift shop, is the chapel interior from the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago.
The shoreline at Vero Beach was most likely a beautiful site for de Leon and his shipmates. We spent a couple of nights at a resort on the beach and the weather was perfect for sunning and swimming this year.
On this trip, we stayed at The Alford Inn and dined at The Coop again but this time having Jackson with us made it so special.
